Extortion 17 Commemorative Beer Release

Thirteen years later, we gather to remember their courage, honor their sacrifice, and ensure the story of Extortion 17 is never forgotten.
Honoring the Fallen – Extortion 17 Commemorative Release
On August 6, 2011, a U.S. CH-47D Chinook helicopter, call sign Extortion 17, was lost in Afghanistan during a mission to support fellow service members. Thirty Americans — including 17 Navy SEALs, Air Force special operators, and Army pilots and crew — along with Afghan partners and a military working dog, made the ultimate sacrifice that day. Their courage, commitment, and love for their brothers-in-arms will never be forgotten.
At Callsign Brewing, our mission has always been to honor heroes. On Saturday, August 30, we will release a special commemorative beer in tribute to the warriors of Extortion 17, their families, and all who serve. Extortion 17 commemorative T-shirts and glassware will be available for purchase, with a portion of proceeds going to charity.
This all-day event will conclude with an evening of remembrance, community, and live music by Jake Hammerstone from 4–7 PM.
Because their names, their service, and their sacrifice deserve to be remembered — always.
